HONOLULU (KHON) — A new beverage called "Prime" is swiftly gaining popularity, especially among kids. However one version of the drink packs quite a caffiene punch. The "Prime" drink, catapulted to fame by YouTube celebrities Logan Paul and "KSI," comes in two variations. The first version is a hydration drink, which is caffeine-free. The other, a high-caffeine energy drink, contains more caffeine than a Red Bull.It's not uncommon these days to spot people carrying "Prime" at various venues, from parks to schools. The hydration variant comes in a bottle, devoid of any caffeine. However, the energy drink version is packed into a 12-ounce can, boasting a hefty 200 milligrams of caffeine. For context, a 12-ounce can of Red Bull has 114 milligrams, and a cup of coffee is approximately 95 milligrams.The manufacturers of Prime Energy stipulate that the drink is intended for those aged 18 and above. NEW YORK (AP) — Three Florida men were arrested Thursday and charged with illegally making more than $22 million by insider trading ahead of the public announcement that an acquisition firm was going to take a media company owned by former President Donald Trump public.The charges were outlined in an indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court that did not implicate Trump in any way. DESTIN, Fla. (WMBB) — Safety officials in Destin, Florida, have issued a statement after former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett drowned in the Gulf of Mexico earlier this week.Destin Beach Safety, which is part of the Destin Fire Control District, said they responded to a call about about six swimmers struggling to get back to shore shortly after 2 p.m. on Tuesday. One of the swimmers, who they identified as Mallett, had "submerged and failed to resurface," the agency wrote in a public statement. Three lifeguards entered the water, brought the swimmers back to shore, and performed life-saving measures on Mallett. Teenager drowns in pool at St. Paul apartment building

A teenage boy drowned in a pool at a St. Paul apartment building Wednesday, according to the Ramsey County sheriff’s office.The sheriff’s office water patrol responded to the 1900 block of Burns Avenue in the Battle Creek neighborhood just before 10 p.m. The teenager had been found underwater and it was believed he’d been there for about 30 minutes, said Steve Linders, sheriff’s office spokesman.He was pronounced dead at the scene. Hochul made it clear that areas across the entire state are facing unhealthy air conditions due to smoke from the Canadian Wildfires. Hochul said New York is not expected to see air quality levels as high as it did a few weeks ago, however, that does not minimalize the dangers of prolonged activity outdoors.
