Tow Truck Accident near Shepard Avenue Left 22-Year-Old Fresno WomanFRESNO, CA (April 13, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, a car crash involving a tow truck on Friant Road claimed the life of Amaya Chenot.Officers responded to the collision around 1:00 a.m. in the area near Shepard Avenue in Fresno.Upon arrival, officers discovered the wreckage involving a tow truck and a car.Based on the investigation, a northbound tow truck on Friant Road collided with a woman’s vehicle going west on Shepard.In addition, footage from the incident revealed that the tow truck ran a red light and t-boned a woman’s vehicle, sending it onto the opposing lane.Responding medical personnel arrived and extricated the woman from her vehicle.Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. One Hospitalized after Semi-Truck Accident near Haughen Lehmann WayWHITEWATER, CA (April 13, 2023) – Thursday morning, one victim sustained injuries in a big-rig collision on Interstate 10.The incident occurred around 8:05 a.m., near Haughen Lehmann Way on the eastbound lanes of the freeway.At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that three big rigs were involved. Reports claimed that a semi-truck rear-ended another truck, causing the slab of granite from one of the vehicles to end up in the roadway.At around 8:39 a.m., responding rescue personnel extricated one person from the wreckage. Pedestrian Struck and Killed near Pole Line RoadDAVIS, CA (April 13, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, police arrested Phillip Duane McShan following a fatal pedestrian-auto collision on Interstate 80.The deadly crash happened around 12:30 a.m., east of Pole Line Road.According to reports, a black 2023 Polestar traveling west hit a pedestrian walking in the lanes of Interstate 80 for unknown reasons. The collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries.First responders to the site of the accident declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Christian Ruvalcaba Arrested after Pedestrian Crash Near Deep Canyon DrivePALM DESERT, CA (April 13, 2023) – Monday night, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash claimed the life of Jamie Dodge on Highway 111.The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 111, near Deep Canyon Drive.According to reports, Christian Ruvalcaba, in a Honda CRV, struck Dodge, who was walking in the area. The collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries. Ruvalcaba then fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.Emergency crews arrived shortly after and found Dodge suffering from serious injuries.
